Mohammed's story is the most incredible story never told. It is said that truth is stranger than fiction and honestly, NO-ONE could have made this up. There are battles, murders, intrigues, rapes, assassinations, torture, intimidation, and much much more. Along the way Mohammed invented Jihad, the most effective system of conquest ever devised. Mohammed's life story is also the key which unlocks the complexities and confusion of the Islamic religion itself. By understanding his story we quickly gain a clear insight into Islam and the incredible importance this subject holds for our future. This amazing book pulls no punches and brings the subject to life in a way which is both fascinating and informative. Rather than looking at Islam through a prism of Western (and by default, Christian) perspective, it examines the Islamic perspective itself. In doing so it illuminates the contrast between Western and Islamic ethics and beliefs in plain and simple language which makes it a delight to read. Millions of people, both Muslims and non Muslims are tragically affected by aspects of Islam. More than 95% of all wars and armed conflict today involve Muslims. Muslims also suffer some of the highest rates of poverty, disease, hunger, illiteracy, environmental degradation and many more crippling disadvantages. By tackling the subject head on, this book leaves us with the knowledge and understanding to address these problems with logical and well thought out solutions. Debra Riddle on Amazon UK said:I started to read this book open minded but could not put it down. I think every living person in the world today whatever religion should read this. Absolutely brilliant, a real eye opener and written so anyone can understand. Kazi Asaduzzaman said:This is a fantastic book with all the significant insights into the subject. To understand the subject, it is a valuable tool for the Non Muslims to begin with and an eye opener for the Muslims who want to know the truth from all the perspectives.I strongly recommend this book for others to read. In the current context, it's a must read. F. Parsons, also on Amazon UK called it “Brilliant” and left the following review:“A concise and factual account of the exploits of Mohammed and the repercussions throughout history to today. I could not put this book down having started reading it. Highly recommended”. Fred J. Alexander said:This amazing factual book reads like an adventure story. Islam is based on the life of Mohammed and Mohammed is not like any other prophet. Easy reading only 135 pages. If you want insight on Islam and Jiahd, etc. this is for you. John “Crafty” of Sydney said:This book really impressed me. I feared a xenophobic treatise but instead found a compelling history of Islam. Certainly I will read more to increase my knowledge. Kautsky is probably the first Marxist to interest himself both in the movement and the enigmatic personality of the crucified prophet. His "Foundations of Christianity" is one of the most popular Marxist theoretical works due to the interest of socialist militants to see a vision of the origins of Christianity which permits the modern workers movement to appropriate to itself the figure of Jesus as a prophet and martyr for the proletarian cause. Son of Hamas is now available in softcover with an all-new chapter about events since the book’s release such as the revelation of Mosab’s Israeli intelligence handler’s true identity, and Homeland Security’s effort to deport the author. Since he was a small boy, Mosab Hassan Yousef has had an inside view of the deadly terrorist group Hamas. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, young Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to assume his legacy, politics, status . . . and power. But everything changed when Mosab turned away from terror and violence, and embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader. In Son of Hamas, Mosab reveals new information about the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization and unveils the truth about his own role, his agonizing separation from family and homeland, the dangerous decision to make his newfound faith public, and his belief that the Christian mandate to “love your enemies” is the only way to peace in the Middle East.

ISBN: 0979579481
Pages: 48
Year: 2015-10-18
Islam is a political system with its own body of laws called Sharia. Sharia law is based on entirely different principles than our laws. Many of these laws concern the non-Muslim. What does Sharia law mean for the citizens of this state? How will this affect us? What are the long-term effects of granting Muslims the right to be ruled by Sharia, instead of our laws? Each and every demand that Muslims make is based on the idea of implementing Sharia law in America. Should we allow any Sharia at all? Why? Why not? How can any political or legal authority make decisions about Sharia law if they do not know what it is? Is this moral? The answers to all of these questions are found in this book.

The two men stood upon the top of a bank bordering the rough road which led to the sea. They were listening to the lark, which had risen fluttering from their feet a moment or so ago, and was circling now above their heads. Mannering, with a quiet smile, pointed upwards. "There, my friend!" he exclaimed. "You can listen now to arguments more eloquent than any which I could ever frame. That little creature is singing the true, uncorrupted song of life. He sings of the sunshine, the buoyant air; the pure and simple joy of existence is beating in his little heart. The things which lie behind the hills will never sadden him. His kingdom is here, and he is content."

Works by Kahlil Gibran intimately reveal the complex nature of one of the twentieth century’s most influential writers Kahlil Gibran wrote prolifically and passionately in Arabic as well as English. First published in 1965 with nine works of poetry translated by Joseph Sheban, Mirrors of the Soul includes writings by Gibran that are as poignant today as when first written, such as “The New Frontier” and“The Sea.” These poems illuminate the dual nature of Gibran, who lived in the shadows both of New York skyscrapers and the cedars of his childhood Lebanon. Sheban enriches the new works with an insightful biography, a historical examination of politics and religion in Gibran’s native land, and the inclusion of revolutionary poems such as “My Countrymen” and “My People Died.”
Das Migrations- und Kriminalverhalten von Ausländern

Das Migrations- und Kriminalverhalten von Ausländern

Author: Peter Mersch
Publisher: BoD – Books on Demand
ISBN: 3744881466
Pages: 500
Year: 2017-10-13
The Wise Heart

The Wise Heart

Author: Jack Kornfield
Publisher: Bantam
ISBN: 0553905058
Pages: 448
Year: 2008-04-29
You have within you unlimited capacities for love, for joy, for communion with life, and for unshakable freedom—and here is how to awaken them. In The Wise Heart, one of the leading spiritual teachers of our time offers the most accessible and illuminating guide to Buddhism’s transformational psychology ever published in the West. Trained as a monk in Thailand, Burma, and India, Jack Kornfield experienced at first hand the life-changing power of Buddhist teachings: the emphasis on the nobility and sacredness of the human spirit, the fine-grained analysis of emotion and thought, the precise techniques for healing, training, and transforming the mind and heart. In contrast to the medical orientation of most Western psychology and psychiatry, here is a vision of radiant human dignity, and a practical path for realizing it in our own lives. The Wise Heart is the fruit of a life’s work that includes such classics as A Path with Heart and After the Ecstasy, the Laundry. Filled with stories from Kornfield’s Buddhist psychotherapy practice and portraits of remarkable teachers, it also includes a moving account of his own recovery from a violence-filled childhood. For meditators and mental health professionals, Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike, The Wise Heart offers an extraordinary journey from the roots of consciousness to the highest expression of human possibility. From the Hardcover edition.
