Patience is an indescribable psychedelic science-fiction love story, veering with uncanny precision from violent destruction to deeply personal tenderness in a way that is both quintessentially 'Clowesian', and utterly unique in the author's body of work. This 180-page, full-colour story affords Clowes the opportunity to draw some of the most exuberant and breathtaking pages of his life, and to tell his most suspenseful, surprising and affecting story yet. The story opens in 2012, when Jack Barlow returns home to find Patience, his pregnant girlfriend, murdered. We meet him next in 2029, still haunted by the murder. He hears of a guy who thinks he's invented a device that enables time travel. On the next page Jack is in 2006, watching Patience on her dates with boys. Is one of them the killer?

Amid the Canary Islands lies the massive crater of thevolcano Cumbre Vieja. Scientists theorize that one day the volcano will erupt, triggering a series of events that will lead to a tsunami higher than any in recorded history. This mega-tsunami, with waves of more than 150 feet in height, would ravage Europe, Africa, and ultimately the East Coast of the United States, causing immeasurable loss of life and destruction . . . After Professor Paul Landon, the world's most prominent geophysicist, is found with a bullet in his head, it is discovered that Ravi Rashood—America's nemesis and the former SAS officer who is now the head of Hamas—has hatched a diabolical plot against the West: to fire a nuclear-tipped guided cruise missile—Scimitar SL-2, named for the curved sword of the Muslim warrior Saladin—into Cumbre Vieja. United States Admiral Arnold Morgan, the retired National Security Adviser, and the Pentagon know it's not a joke when Rashood, accompanied once again by his wife, the Palestinian Shakira, explodes Mount St. Helens. Morgan knows something even more horrific is to come. But stopping them won't be easy. Rashood and his Hamas crew are deep in the ocean, in an undetectable sub, which he managed to procure from Russia via communist China. Perhaps worse, a new President, a weak-willed liberal in the White House, worries about taking a stand. As the terrorists' deadline approaches, the newly implemented and unseasoned National Security team must consider the unthinkable. They must assume the daunting task of organizing a mass relocation of major population centers along the East Coast to safer ground. Morgan once again finds himself at the center of a desperate cat-and-mouse chase, battling his greatest enemy yet as he races against time to locate the silent underwater marauder and stop Rashood before the unimaginable happens. With his trademark authentic research and grasp of military hardware, geopolitics, and cutting-edge science, Patrick Robinson is at the top of his game with this new tale.

Bob Noorda Design
This book is the last graphic work produced and wholly conceived by Bob Noorda. Bob Noorda was a Dutch designer and architect who naturalized as an Italian citizen. Starting in the 1960s, he came to the fore as one of the main artificers of the renewal of twentieth-century Italian graphic art. Noorda worked in the Dutch capital until 1954, when he decided to move to Italy to settle in Milan. He worked on the signage and visual features of Milan's subway system (1964) and which won him his first of four Compasso d'Oro. In 1965, along with the designer Massimo Vignelli, he set up the graphic agency Unimark International, famous for using a very modern approach to design for international clients such as IBM, Pirelli, Olivetti, la Rinascente and the New York subway system, for which they redesigned the entire communication system. Moleskine follows up the acclaimed title on John Alcorn with another release of one of the most important designer of the past century.

By the most successful comics writer of the past twenty-five years, Alan Moore, comes his funniest and most endearing anti-heroes, D.R & Quinch. There's nothing like them. Ernest Errol Quinch and Waldo ‘D.R.’ Dobbs (the ‘D.R.’ stands for ‘Diminished Responsibility’) are a pair of psychotic alien students, less interested in their college work than in the sort of thing young people like to get up to – you know, military ordnance, picking fights, destroying entire star systems…
